MyDocsNotes transcribes your medical appointment in real time and turns it into an easy to read summary you can keep and share. The transcript is deleted the moment the summary is ready.
Memory failure after a high-stakes appointment is not a concentration problem. It is a physiological one. When cortisol rises, the brain prioritises immediate threat response over information retention.
This applies to patients, to parents attending with children, and to adult children attending with ageing parents. The information gap is structural, not personal.
The patient is the subject of the recording, not the beneficiary. The clinician keeps the record. The patient leaves with nothing.
Writing during a consultation pulls your attention away from listening. Most people stop mid-sentence. The gaps are the parts that matter most.
They are under the same stress. They are focused on support, not retention. Two people in the same room often leave with different accounts of what was said.
MyDocsNotes works on your phone during the appointment. No setup. No special equipment. No recording left behind.
Open MyDocsNotes on your phone before the appointment starts. Tap to begin. That's it.
The app transcribes what is said during your appointment as it happens. No recording is saved at any point.
The moment the appointment ends, your summary is generated. The transcript is deleted immediately.
You receive an easy to read summary of what was discussed. Keep it, share it, refer back to it any time.
MyDocsNotes never stores audio. The live transcript exists only long enough to generate your summary. The moment your summary is ready, the transcript is gone. What you keep is the summary. Nothing else.

MyDocsNotes is useful wherever the stakes are high and the information is complex.
Oncology, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology. Appointments where treatment options, test results, and medication changes are discussed in a single sitting.
A parent at a paediatric appointment. An adult child with an ageing parent. A spouse at a difficult diagnosis. Everyone in the room deserves the same record.
You thought of the question in the car on the way home. Your summary has the answer. Or at least the context to ask the right question next time.
MyDocsNotes is free to try. No credit card required to get started.
Try MyDocsNotes with no commitment. Good for occasional appointments.
For anyone with regular appointments who wants a full record of every visit.
Everything in Monthly, billed annually. 12 months for the price of 10.
MyDocsNotes started with a personal experience. A high-stakes medical appointment, a well-meaning doctor, and a drive home with almost nothing retained. Not because of inattention. Because that is what stress does to memory.
The existing tools were built for clinicians. A patient-side companion didn't exist. So we built one.
MyDocsNotes is developed and operated by Bzui Pty Ltd, based in Sydney, Australia.

MyDocsNotes is a patient-controlled appointment companion. It transcribes a consultation in real time and gives the patient a structured summary. No audio is stored. The transcript is deleted the moment the summary is ready.
MyDocsNotes is not a clinical scribe. It is a companion for the person sitting across from you. Patients use it to understand and retain what was discussed. The record belongs to them.
MyDocsNotes is initiated, managed, and owned by the patient. Nothing is sent to the practice. Nothing is added to clinical records. The summary is delivered to the patient's device and stays there.
Clinical AI scribes generate notes for the clinician. MyDocsNotes generates a summary for the patient. The same consultation, with a different beneficiary. The patient is not the subject of this recording. They are the reason for it.
Research shows 40–80% of medical information is forgotten immediately after a consultation. MyDocsNotes gives patients a record to refer to, share with family members who couldn't attend, and use to prepare for follow-up appointments.
Patients managing complex or chronic conditions. Family members attending with a loved one. Anyone leaving a high-stakes appointment who wants a clear record of what was said. The tool is patient-side from first use to last.
We have built consent and data protection into every step. Here is how the privacy model works.
Before each recording begins, the app requires the patient to confirm they have consent to use it in the consultation. Whether and how to discuss this with patients is a decision for your practice.
MyDocsNotes sends the audio securely to our transcription service the moment it is captured. The audio is used only to create the live transcript, and it is never saved or kept.
The live transcript exists only long enough to generate the summary. The moment the summary is ready, the transcript is deleted. Nothing persists beyond what the patient receives.
The generated summary is stored on the patient's device. It is not shared with the practice, a third party, or anyone else without the patient's own deliberate action.
MyDocsNotes never stores audio. There is no audio file to access, request, or subpoena. The only output is a plain-language summary, held by the patient, on their device.

MyDocsNotes tells patients about the limitations of AI-generated summaries inside the app. Here is what we communicate.
AI can misinterpret medical terminology, miss nuances, or occasionally get details wrong. We tell patients this clearly. If a patient raises something from their summary that seems incorrect, the app is the right place to start. Their summary and the consultation are separate records.
MyDocsNotes summaries are designed to help patients understand their care. They are not clinical records, not designed to serve as medical documentation, and not intended to be used in clinical decision-making by the patient or anyone else.
If a patient reads their summary and has questions or concerns, we direct them back to their clinician. The summary is a prompt for continued conversation. It is not a substitute for your clinical guidance.
